Overview

September 2018 marked one year since nearly one million Rohingya were forced to flee their homes in Mynamar and seek refuge in Bangladesh. Among them are 500,000 children. Non-governmental organization BRAC and Ogilvy Singapore teamed up to create #SpaceOnEarth, a campaign designed to give these children a voice and to raise awareness of their continuing plight. A TV showing footage of the children recount the horrors they witnessed is sent into space. The video ends with a plea from the children to be given “just a little space on earth to live.”
